TP UCITS qualifier

a firm (other than a firm which manages a scheme under a temporary permission) which:

1. (1) for the time being is an operator, trustee or depositary of a scheme or sub-fund which is temporarily recognised under Part 6 of the Collective Investment Schemes (Amendment etc ) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019; and
1. (2) is an authorised person as a result of Part 7 of those Regulations;

a reference to a firm as a “TP UCITS qualifier” applies in relation to the carrying on by the firm of activities for which it has permission in that capacity.
