sectoral rules

        1. (in relation to a financial sector) rules and requirements relating to the prudential supervision of regulated entities applicable to regulated entities in that financial sector as follows:
          1. (a) (for the purposes of GENPRU 3.1.12 R (Definition of financial conglomerate: Solvency requirement)) UK prudential sectoral legislation for that financial sector together with as appropriate the rules and requirements in (c);
          1. (b) (for the purpose of calculating solo capital resources and a solo capital resources requirement ):
            1. (i) (to the extent provided for in paragraphs 6.4 to 6.6 of GENPRU 3 Annex 1R) rules and requirements that are referred to in hose paragraphs; and
            1. (ii) the rules and requirements in (c); or
          1. (c) (for all other purposes) rules and requirements of the appropriate regulator and so that:
            1. (i) (in relation to consolidated supervision for any financial sector) those requirements include ones relating to the form and extent of consolidation;
            1. (ii) (in relation to any financial sector) those requirements include ones relating to the eligibility of different types of capital;
            1. (iii) (in relation to any financial sector) those requirements include both ones applying on a solo basis and ones applying on a consolidated basis; and
          1. References to the appropriate regulator's sectoral rules are to sectoral rules in the form of rules and, as applicable, the UK CRR.
