    a sector composed of one or more of the following entities:

      1. (a) an investment firm (other than a designated investment firm);
      1. (b) a financial institution that is not an investment firm; and
      1. (c) (in the circumstances described in GENPRU 3.1.39R (The financial sectors: asset management companies and alternative investment fund managers)) an asset management company or an alternative investment fund manager.
