      1. (a) (in SYSC 4.7 ) an individual appointed by a firm under SYSC 4.7.5R(1) with the allocated responsibilities in SYSC 18.4.4R;
      1. (b) (in SYSC 18) (Whistleblowing) an individual appointed by a firm under either SYSC 4.7.5R(1) or SYSC 18.4.2R, as applicable, with the allocated responsibilities in SYSC 18.4.4R.
