  1. (1) (except in (2)) capital instruments that qualify as common equity tier 1 instruments, additional tier 1 instruments or tier 2 instruments.

  2. (2) (in relation to a parent undertaking to which the group capital test applies) has the meaning in MIFIDPRU 2.6.2R(1).
