IFPRU investment firm

    an investment firm, as defined in article 4(1)(2) of the UK CRR (including a collective portfolio management investment firm), that satisfies the following conditions:

      1. (a) it is a firm;
      1. (b) its head office is in the UK and it is not otherwise excluded under IFPRU 1.1.5 R; and
      1. (c) it is not a designated investment firm;

    that is not excluded under IFPRU 1.1.5 R (Exclusion of certain types of firms).
