full CRD credit institution
- an undertaking whose business is to receive deposits or other repayable funds from the public and to grant credits for its own account and that has its registered office (or, if it has no registered office, its head office) in an the UK, excluding an institution to which CRD did not apply under the UK provisions which implemented article 2 of CRD.
