credit union

    a body corporate registered under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014 as a credit union in accordance with the Credit Unions Act which is an authorised person or a body corporate registered under:

      1. (a) the Credit Unions (Northern Ireland) Order 1985; or
      1. (b) the Industrial and Provident Societies Act (Northern Ireland) 1969,

    as a credit union which is an authorised person.
