execution venue

for the purposes of the provisions relating to best execution in COBS 11.2, COBS 11.2A, COBS 11.2B and COLL, execution venue means a regulated market, an MTF, an OTF, an equity systematic internaliser, or a  market maker or other liquidity provider or an entity that performs a similar function in a third country to the functions performed by any of the foregoing.
